Guests at the Sheep 96 Homestay often said that staying there feels like returning home. The owner of the homestay, Mrs. Yang, treats each guest like family returning home from afar and often welcomes them with platters of fruit and refreshments. The reason that Mrs. Yang decided to name her homestay “Sheep 96 Homestay” is because her surname in Chinese sounds like the word sheep ‘yáng’. She also thinks that her role of being at the homestay is similar to a mother sheep taking care of her flock of lambs.
The interior of the homestay is clean, tidy, and spacious. With its simple and chic decoration, every guest is sure to feel comfortable. The Sheep 96 Homestay offers rooms for 2, 4, or 6 people, all named with sheep themes. Because Mrs. Yang believes in the necessity of protecting our environment for future generations. She uses solar thermal heating systems and encourages guests to help protect the environment with a 5% percent discount on the second day of staying. Sheep 96 Homestay believes that guests bring their own eco-friendly toiletry, reuse sheets/ towels, and help to share information on energy saving and carbon reduction are the caring person who truly loves Taitung and the environment.
