2022 World Women’s Art Festival
As gender equality awareness rises and women gain higher status in society, a rising number of female artists are born. Patriarchy in art history is beginning to be overturned, allowing female artists’ “Art HERstory” to reach the global stage and create work that showcases female world views and values.
Love and Hope – 2022 World Women’s Art Festival exhibition will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Taitung County Government, Taiwan Women’s Art Association, and other organizations. The exhibition displays the concept of the large art center that the county government is promoting. The exhibitions will be held in the Taitung Art Museum, National Museum of Prehistory, and National Taitung Living Art Center, as well as collaborating with independent exhibition spaces along the South Link, East Coast, all the way to the East Rift Valley to bring art to every corner and nook and cranny of Taitung.
All of Taitung will be turned into a display of artwork to reflect the concept of “art life, living art.” Female artists from Taiwan, Japan, New Zealand, and other countries have been invited to unite in Taiwan, gathering energy from female artists globally to present the contemporary woman’s emotions, life, and global visions. Besides art exhibitions, the hosts have also planned female film and book exhibitions, art lectures, and other events to show the achievements and strength of women’s art. 2023 Kanadun Caucau Carnival Begins May 6th
It is truly stunning to be able to experience the beauty of the tribes when surrounded by the oceans, mountains, and forests. The Kanadun Caucau Carnival, which is entering its third year, is one of the hottest local festivals in Jinlun, Taimali. The event launches at the LI.KA CAFE outdoor plaza on May 5th. Participate in the activities and learn more about Jinlun, their multiethnic groups, food, and culture.
