Unlike most dim sum restaurants in Taiwan, you wouldn’t be able to tell the restaurant features Cantonese dim sum from the restaurant’s sign, and the interior decoration isn’t intentionally set up to give off a dim sum vibe, rather, the restaurant is well known based on word of mouth! The young owner Andy is a Taiwanese-born Cantonese. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu Australia, Andy moved to Taitung to offer authentic Cantonese flavors with his culinary skills.
Pick any dish off the menu and you’ll find that they are all signature dishes, including pineapple bun with butter, crispy bun with pork chop, french toast, instant stir noodles, BBQ pork rice, and other mouth-watering items. Andy’s high standards and professionalism push him to strive for the best when it comes to his passions. Take Hong Kong Style Milk Tea for example, from the selection of tea leaves, the temperature of the water, to the brewing technique, no detail is left out. Most of the items on the menu are made from scratch, including the crispy egg tart, juicy and succulent BBQ pork, and fluffy pineapple bun. All the care and attention to detail make for this great eatery. To guarantee the freshness and quality of ingredients, Andy selects and purchases the fresh produce from the Central Traditional Market each day.
