If you want to taste some tribal delicacies, besides menuless restaurants and specialty meals, you can also try out the tribal stir-fried restaurant: Ganu Bistro. The restaurant offers all the classics and offers meals made with ingredients and culinary techniques unique to the tribe. The bistro became one of the most popular stores in Jinlun shortly after it first opened. “Ganu” is Paiwanese for “having a meal.” The name was given in hopes that guests will be able to enjoy the same warm feeling of a family meal. Popular dishes on the menu include mapo tofu and sweet and sour pork. Each delicious dish will make you want to stuff your mouth with more. Fried Plane Veggies and fresh si-man-ning are also dishes that you must try from the menu. Plane veggies are actually a type of lettuce, it is deep fried but not greasy and tastes like tempura. Eat it with some pepper salt and ketchup for a delicious crunchy treat. Si-man-ning is actually Monk Goby fry, the taste is sweet and fresh like sashimi and will bring you a unique dining experience.
