All the unique qualities of the traditional Taiwanese building have been retained in Sun Sun Coffee’s exterior design. Once you enter the coffee shop, you’ll find mahogany furniture, brass kettles, glass drip coffee makers, and other decorations to complete the classic antique look. There are plenty of green pots and plants scattered around the shop to create a relaxing environment. This is why the owner named the coffee shop “Sun Sun (Chinese characters for forest),” so that the guests would feel close to nature and be separated from life’s anxiety. This is also a reminder to all guests that we are all part of nature.
Sun Sun Coffee offers menu-less cuisine, vegetarian meals, coffee, and organic beverages. The ingredients are selected from seasonal fresh and clean local produce. The light meals are handmade daily in the store to ensure only the freshest items are served. The hope is that guests will taste the vibrant and delicious food and be able to relax their minds and bodies. Did you think that making healthy and vegan meals meant that the taste would be bland?
