One of the only concerts set before the magnificent starry night sky, Starry Taitung Night Concert will fill your happiness to the max. Come to the Starry Taitung Night Concert and see for yourselves. Over the past few years, the Taitung County Government has actively been building the Starry Taitung Night to attract more visitors. The first Starry Taitung Night Concert was held in July and more concerts will take place throughout summer until the end of September. The fun continues under the romantic starry sky, bringing fun and creating beautiful memories.
Besides the fantastic cast and performance list, there will also be a special Starry Night- Stargazing Lecture hosted by the event’s consultant Dr. Lee Hsu-Tai where guests can learn about astrology. It’s also worth mentioning that this year’s concerts will be promoting the special project “sustainability initiative” throughout the whole event. This includes education on stargazing etiquette, light pollution, using low light pollution lighting, and setting up many “paper not trashed” bins around the venue. The stage and venue will be decorated with devices that can be recycled or reused, and the event souvenirs, “light pollution-free black bags” and “galaxy chargers,” will be made using fabric made from 100% recycled PET bottles.
For each participant at any “Starry Taitung Night Concert” $5 NTD earth tax will be donated to environmental non-profits around the world adding even more meaning to the event’s theme of “High Five Planet Earth’s Sustainability.”
